- Insight and opinions. Sometimes
- a lot of my classmates wrote a lot of great stuff
yeah some of the examples i did take with me
like we dont live for ever
and things like that
- When reading my classmates' posts, I've learned their opinions, which I mostly agreed in my response. I learned that we have a lot in common with many, and vice versa. Even if we had nothing in common, it was interesting to read their different ideas.
- from them i learn a different opinion about every subject and yes i thought about their responses.
- when I read my classmates postes on the discussion board I gained alot. By reasinf their post I not only got to hear their opinions but I also understood the subject better and enough to be able to form my own opinion. When I read their responses to certain things I stayed with me sometimes and It made me think alot about what they were trying to say.
- As I said above, I definately did think about the responses on the board when I was not on line. The responses often gave me an understanding of a different point of view, and whether I agreed or not, I enjoyed the freedom to disagree with someone on line. Most often, I would not do that in a classroom setting.
- Other experiences and different opinions. One might stick to its own ideas, but it's like living in tyhe dark and denying that the big and beautiful world exists out there.
- I gain a lot of insight from them. They opened up a lot more. I do think about the responses afterwards.
- well its like talking but not seeing their faces
- Basically I answered this question in the previous post, but I still would like to add that it made me feel like I count and that if people are interested enough to read my post and answer it, it could mean that I am saying something interesting. It made me feel good about myself.
- Definitely. There's great detail and information to be gained from each other's post. Everyone carries life experiences that colors and influences their opinions. That exposure alone makes the posts far richer.
- many posts were very insightful, however when they are two long it is too easy to lose interest and skip them which is not fair to them and to yourself. On the other hand there were some post that were way too short and i could have done without reading them
- I gain insight into how some people view certain things, however it did not take up my time offline.
- By reading my classmates' postings on the discussion board I learned about their background and personal life. They also pointed out details in stories and topics that I missed and help me gain a better insight on what I did notice. I do think about their responses when I am not online. There were times when certain things happened and I would find myself saying oh, this is what such and such was talking about. I personally like when they respond using the name of whom they are responding to because it makes me feel like they are really interested in what you have said or have to say and not just posting garbage.
- i got to see how other people thought...no one was shy neither
- I gain other's people insight into the same subjects, just different views. I definately was thinking not only of there responses, but the class in itself.
- Taking an online class allows you to read the posts and come back later in the day after reading and thinking them through. It gives you more freedom in your responses and how you debate your classmates.
