2006 BMCC Technology Day Discipline-Specific Caucuses
Welcome to the BMCC Caucus Wiki! We will be using this wiki to record key ideas as they arise in each of the discipline-specific caucuses.
At the left side of this page you will find a link to your specific caucus. When you click on your caucus you will be linked to a text box that operates similarly to that which you would find in your basic email program. By typing and formatting the text in this box, you will create a web page that will be shared during the plenary session.
Feel free to use the editing tools above the text box to 'design' your page. As you record the ideas voiced in your caucus, be sure to click on the "Save and Edit" link regularly and often. This will prevent your entries from being lost.
If you need a brief primer on how to use this wiki, * Basic Editing describes how to create pages in PmWiki.
Tips for recording:
1. Be brief but thorough.
2. Keep the discussion focused, positive, and constructive.
3. Work towards general disciplinary recommendations rather than those for one specific course.
4. Questions are ideas. Complaints/issues are ideas. Feel free to voice and record them as they arise but don't get bogged down.
