Hello everyone, my name is Werner Macedo, and I am 19 years old. I was born and raised in Brazil. I moved to the United States about four years ago. I lived in Miami, FL for three years where i completed my high school degree. Florida is a great place to live, but it gets boring after a while, so i decided to move to NYC. I have been living here for one year now, and i am loving it.
I am starting my third semester at BMCC, and i plan to transfer to a four year college. My major is liberal arts, but i am thinking about changing to fincance. Like most people here at BMCC, i partied a little bit too much in high school, so i couldn't go straight to a four year college, but i am getting there.
Like any Brazilian, i have a enormous passion for soccer. I also like any sports that have to do with water.I am a certified scuba diver, and i love to surf. Unfortunately there are no waves here, so i have been snowboarding a whole lot lately.
I have chosen to be graded, my position paper. I feel that this paper was my strongest one because it talks about a very important and ignored issue, same sex marriage. Some people are against it, some people are in favor of it. Whether you are in favor of it, or against it, it’s entirely up to you, but you should remember that they are human beings just like me and you and they deserve the same rights we have and don’t appreciate it.
