My name is Mehwish Yazdani, I’m majoring in office administration and this is my third semester in BMCC. I have a big family and we three sisters and three brothers. My mother got stroke and she is paralysis, so I have the responsibility of my younger brother on me. I think this class improved my writing skill and because of this class I start to proofread my work. Now I express myself more clearly and my writing relates to my assignment. I never use to proofread my work, but the assignments from this class made me read my work and fix the mistakes.

Position paper. This is the paper I wanted to be graded for my portfolio. This version show that how Muslim are still treated today by some people. This paper also show’s that during the time of September 11, how people behave with Muslim and tell’s the incident which happen to me. How still Muslim are suffering because of political events. I take the position of defending Muslim’s who are not treated nicely. How my friend have a job problem, because she wear scarf.

Research Paper. I experience the same things which happen in the movie. How my mother gave my brother’s more important than her daughter’s. this movie is very similar to my real life, experience that I had with my mother. How my mother in real life thought that her son's would take care of her, but now she learn that how much wrong she was

I argue that they should had at least show a girl who later take care of her parents, who are rejected by their four son’s who don’t want to take care of their parents. Then later the parents learn that how wrong they were about their thinking and believing in their son’s.

Personal Narrative. I talk about my mother stoke incident and how it had effect my life. How my life has change from a Mehwish who was before her mother stroke and the Mehwish who was different now from her mother stroke attack.

In Class. This is the paper I wrote in class in the limit time of 90 minutes. This paper talk about how culture is develop by old people experience to new generation. How the event or the result of their experience became part of the culture to their next generation,
