CONS: very expensive price and bad anti-noise.

PROS: houses could last over a hundred years.

In my paper, I am going to talk about the houses which were built in America. My mom and I had been looking for a house for two years before we bought it. According to my memory, I had seen over sixty or seventy two family and three family houses in Queens. Most houses that I have seen were built with bricks and frames. The frame houses were mostly built in 1900s-1930s and the brick houses were about built in late 1940s-1970s. After two years of looking for a house. In early of this year my mom bought a two family brick townhouse in Queens, the house were built in early 1930s.

The first thing that I want to talk about is the price of the house. If someone who have never bought a house in Queens, she or he would never know what the price could be for a two family house. In fact, my mom spent over seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars for a two family house. The price of the house is unbelievable, when my mom bought a very very old and deteriorated house with so much money. I think that the quality of the house does not equal to the price. when the first time I enter my mom's house, I was shocked because almost everything was in poor condition. The heating system made so much noise and not working properly. I asked my mom why didn't you buy a new house with excellenct condition. my mom said," if I buy the new house, it will cost over nine hundred thousand dollars".

when I moved into the house to live with my mom. I found out that the tenants who live upstairs made so much noise. I could clearly hear when they walking on the floor and showering and sometimes when they talking. I remember one night when I was almost falling asleep at 1:00 am, someone who lives upstairs woke me up due to the loud talking and music. I knew that I could not blame anybody, it was not tenants' fault. It was the house's fault because the floors were built with wood, the noise could pass through the wood easily. sometimes when my mom was talking on the cellphone in next door, I could hear clearly. It was like someone who was talking by my bedside.

one thing good about the house is that most houses could last over a hundred years with a strong concrete foundation. After my mom bought the house, she did renovation. According to some professinal decorators and constructors that after renovation the house will last at least fifty more economic years. However, I am not going to encourage anybody to buy the house, but the apartment. The most flame and brick houses are very expensive and have bad anti-noise function.
