My name is April Milagros Hall. This is currently my second semester at BMCC, my major is Liberal Arts. I chose to major in Liberal Arts because I am still in my expermental stage in life. But most likely I will gear more towards business, I feel that it's a stable career path for me to head in. I always wanted to be a sucessful women and I hope that following my dream would set my path in business.

Other than school, another path that I would like to pursue is modeling. Many people have said that I should but I felt that certain things about me were not complete, now I feel that I'm almost where I want to be psychically. For many years I have struggled with my weight, that was an issue that restrained me from doing many things. I began taking more inciative in how I ate and pysical involvment. I enrolled into a gym and started to eat what I call "Clean", which meant eliminating all fried, doey and just plain unhealthy foods. What a difference that made in my life, I started to finally care and work hard, and that taught me a very important lesson. I learned that what ever you really work hard for you can achieve, just apply yourself, sure you hear people say it all the time but it really is true. I just think that I should loose about 10 pounds then I will be ready to take my pictures and see what happens.

The most important element in my life is my family. I have a very small family, basically my mother and brother. They are the two most important beings in my life. My mother must be the best mother anyone could ask for and I really do mean that, there is nothing in this world that she hasn't done for me. Every decision in life that I have made or issue that I have gone through she has been there for me. My brother is thirteen, he has also been a great part of my life. Having a brother has made me a better person, because I know that someone looks up to me and I must be a good role model to him.

Admin: This is a good introduction, but it doesn't really make a clear overall point, or give enough detailed specific moments to support such a point. For an essay to really work well, you need a thesis that you can stick to, and some strong examples to support that thesis. This is a beginning, or a rough draft, but it doesn't go far enough to be a finished essay.
